Defence and Security

In contrast, the “security” category includes a wider swath of discretionary programs.  The term has been used with various compositions, but the recently-passed Budget Control Act defines it as all of “defense” (function 050) as well as international affairs programs, the Department of Homeland Security.

Climate change and Environmental degradation

Climate change refers to long-term shifts in temperatures and weather patterns. These shifts may be natural, such as through variations in the solar cycle. But since the 1800s, human activities have been the main driver of climate change, primarily due to burning fossil fuels like coal, oil and gas.

Corruption and Illicit Finance

The major causes of corruption in India. Given the complexity and breadth of an issue such as corruption, it is impossible to fully account for all of the underlying drivers that create incentives for corrupt behaviour. Rather than attempting to construct such an unwieldy inventory, we focus instead on stylized drivers of corruption.

Agriculture

. In the rise of the sedentary human lifestyle agriculture was the key development. The cultivation of plant and food grains began years ago in order to provide food to the city population. Agriculture is the main need for the people to live in the society. Agriculture is the main source of livelihood; it provides a source for the people to earn.

Education

Education is a basic need for everyone in the modern day to live a good life. It plays an important role in enabling us to use technological systems and services. Well educated people can take up different jobs and become successful in life.

Environmental Law & Justice

Environmental justice is the fair treatment and meaningful involvement of all people regardless of race, colour, national origin, or income, with respect to the development, implementation, and enforcement of environmental laws, regulations, and policies.

Energy & Electricity

Electrical energy is energy related to forces on electrically charged particles and the movement of electrically charged particles. This energy is supplied by the combination of electric current and electric potential that is delivered by an electrical circuit.

Federalism

India had adopted a federal political system that had two tiers of government: The national level and the state level. A crucial third tier (at the level of panchayats and municipalities) was added post the enactment of the 73rd and 74th Amendments in 1992.

Governance, Accountability & Public

Fiscal transfers to sub-national governments were linked to cost indicators and performance targets, consistent budget formats were introduced across jurisdictions, and financial calendars and IT systems were upgraded alongside the training of thousands of civil servants in new accounting techniques.

Finance

India’s aspiration to achieve high income status by 2047 will need to be realized through a climate-resilient growth process that delivers broad-based gains to the bottom half of the population. Growth-oriented reforms will need to be accompanied by an expansion in good jobs that keeps pace with the number of labor market.

Health & Nutrition

Nutrition is a critical part of health and development. Better nutrition is related to improved infant, child and maternal health, stronger immune systems, safer pregnancy and childbirth, lower risk of non-communicable diseases (such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease), and longevity.

Indian Politics

India has had a large number of political parties during its history under democratic governance. It has been estimated that over 200 parties were formed after India became independent in 1947. And as per the current publication report dated 23 September 2021 from the Election Commission of the India.

Land Rights

Property rights are not just about ownership of a piece of land but a collection of rights over that land that may be lawfully exercised. Although the norms of property ownership and rights have been well established, where they have failed is in their last mile recognition and enforcement.
